It is a common trope on the startup world that expects scalable growth: consulting is not scalable. It is used as prime example of non-scalable businesses. This 2017 YC post: Consulting doesn't scale, software does also showcases this spirit.
However, powerful LLMs chained with real world data or tools may change this: good ideas with good product market fit but that were not scalable because depended on customised consultant may now become scalable and viable, which could inject new value on thousands of organisations, proto-organisations or soon-to-be-organisations.
